As part of the editorial team for our company’s new website launch, I joined just two months before go-live — a fast-moving, high-pressure period. My role focused on final-stage proofreading and editing to ensure consistency, clarity, and polish across all web pages.

  • Edited and proofed all main site pages (home, about, services, blog) for grammar, clarity, and brand tone

  • Provided feedback on page structure, headlines, and UX writing where appropriate

  • Worked cross-functionally with design and development to flag issues before launch

Even though I joined near the finish line, I played a key role in ensuring the site launched clean, clear, and consistent with the brand voice.

With the launch of the new website, we aimed to improve the visibility and engagement of our industry and service pages — key drivers of traffic and conversions. To assess the impact, we compared March year-over-year performance, excluding paid search to focus purely on organic and direct traffic.
